Join us for a showcase of successful entrepreneurs and startups in MedTech! Monday, February 23 from the hours of 1-5pm, we'll be hosting a variety of sessions to show how MedTech startups in the Valley are flourishing and how they are doing it. 1:40 - CEI - An Introduction: Jeff Saville, Executive Director at CEI.

1:50 - From Concept to Revenue - Building a Digital Health Startup in a Competitive Market: 
Bret Larsen, CEO and Co-Founder at eVisit Co-founders, Bret Larson, Miles Romney and Dr. Glen McCracken are radically improving the healthcare delivery model with telehealth software. Bret will discuss eVisit’s journey from a nights and weekends endeavor on a shoestring budget to a company generating revenue in less than 1 year.

2:15 - Raising a Startup's Value in the Desert - Opportunities in Connected Devices:
Kent Dicks, CEO at Alere Connect. In 2006, Mr. Dicks founded MedApps to address the need for remote patient monitoring. Ahead of its time, Mr. Dicks was able to continually add value to his company eventually selling it to Alere in 2012 forming Alere Connect.

 Randal Schulhauser, Sr. Manager, Technology & Business Development, Medtronic, Inc. As an integral part of the local medical startup community and a seasoned veteran to Medtronic, Inc. Mr. Schulhauser is intimately involved with evaluating technologies and their potential value to a large, strategic company.

3:25 - Growth to Exit - Lessons Learned on the Way to $600M
Matthew Likens, President and CEO, Ulthera, Inc. Mr. Likens joined Ulthera, Inc. in 2006 when the company only had two employees. As President and CEO, Matthew Likens lead Ulthera through two financing rounds and grew revenues from $0 to over $80M shortly after which Ulthera was acquired by Merz Pharmaceuticals in August of 2014 for $600M.
