In 2014, my startup Allbound was selected to participate in Acceleprise, a Silicon Valley accelerator program focused on helping enterprise SaaS companies grow. So I picked-up my family and moved to SF for a 4-month adventure of a lifetime.

And now that I'm back, boy do I have stories to tell - from the people I met and the best practices I learned to pitch contests and one-on-one experiences of pitching in front of some of the top VCs and angels in Silicon Valley.

Silicon Valley was NOT a master planned community - and neither is Phoenix. But there's a reason it got to where it is. And a reason that "the Valley" had nearly 800 VC deals in 2013 while our Valley had 12. And I got to live and breath a lot of those reasons when I took my startup West for a few months.
